Nazia, a sixth-grade student, and Nafi, a second-grade student, were injured in a plane crash on the Milestone School and College campus in Uttara. The siblings later died while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.They were buried at Rajabari Cemetery, adjacent to Kamarbari under Turag police station. The father of the two deceased siblings, Ashraful Alam, has requested that no one else be buried in his children's graves after two years.Ashraful Alam conveyed this demand to BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi when he arrived at his residence in Kamarpara area of Turag in the capital on Friday (July 25) afternoon.On the instructions of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, Rizvi went to Nazia and Nafir's house to express his condolences and comfort to their families.Nazia-Nafir's father became emotional after meeting the senior joint secretary general of BNP. At that time, Rizvi said, "BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has been keeping an eye on all of you since the Milestone incident.""There can be no greater grief than the pain of losing a child."At that time, National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute Registrar Dr. Shariful Islam, JASAS Joint Convener Jahedul Alam Hito, Chhatra Dal Vice President Dr. Touhidur Rahman Awal, Uttara Modern Medical's Dr. Muntasir, Dr. Tasin, Dr. Musaddiq and others were present.
