
Another student injured in the fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, has died from burn injuries.Ten-year-old Ayman passed away while undergoing treatment at the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 9:30 am on Friday (July 25).Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, a resident physician at the institute, confirmed the death. "A child named Ayman, who suffered burn injuries, died while in treatment at the HDU. About 45 percent of his body was burnt," he said. With his death, the number of fatalities at the institute has risen to 14.
Earlier on Monday (July 21), a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka. So far, the incident has claimed 32 lives.
At least 50 others with burn injuries are still undergoing treatment at various hospitals. Most of the victims were students of the institution.
