
BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia returned to her Gulshan residence, Firoza, at 1:25 pm on Tuesday, following nearly four months of medical treatment in London.A special air ambulance provided by Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, brought her and her entourage to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, where they landed at 10:38 am.She departed the airport at 11:40 am in a motorcade under special security arrangements.From early morning, BNP leaders and activists had gathered along both sides of the airport road to welcome their party chief. Khaleda Zia left London’s Heathrow Airport for Dhaka on Monday.
