If BNP comes to power, sports will be made mandatory in the textbooks of every school in the country and radical changes will be brought to the education system, said Aminul Haque, BNP's central sports affairs secretary and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener.He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the reception for students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC/equivalent examinations of Pallabi and Rupnagar police stations in 2025 at Mirpur Girls Ideal School and College on Saturday afternoon.At the event, Aminul Haque, under his own management, distributed certificates, crests, diaries and cash among meritorious students of all educational institutions in Dhaka-16 area.He said, "The 31-point outline given by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman for repairing the state structure calls for radical changes in the education system."Sports will be made mandatory in every school, and a third language will be added to the curriculum along with Bengali and English. Referring to the construction of infrastructure in schools that do not have playgrounds, he said, "There is no alternative to sports to build a physically and mentally healthy generation.""That's why we need to create opportunities for play in every educational institution."Regarding the universality of education, Aminul Haque said, "Our education system is still not accessible to low-income people. If BNP comes to power, it will eliminate that inequality and bring education within the reach of everyone."The event was presided over by Pallabi Majedul Islam Model High School Principal Mohammad Shahid Ullah, and special guests included Mirpur Girls Ideal College President Professor Dr. Md.
